Soul Birthing

Icons to the Midwife, is a devotional offering to celebrate and represent the four stages of re-birthing of the soul - opening, descent, release and retrieval.

Each image explores the bodily response experienced by the vessel.

Soul loss can be experienced as complete or partial loss of being, resulting in a permeable or completely decayed vessel, unable to be bathed in glory.

Soul-loss, retrieved through rebirthing - mothering the mother, reembodies the being in all her feminine glory. She delivers into this world, reconnected with her authentic self, assured of her spiritual anchor, ripe for conception and ready to claim her birth rights and re-enter this world in all its beauty, with highest love and light.
